As he departs from his distinguished role as Honorary British Consul to Greater Philadelphia after 27 remarkable years of service.
During his tenure, Mr. Franklin has served as an invaluable bridge between Philadelphia and the United Kingdom, fostering international cooperation, cultural exchange, and educational opportunities. His dedication was recognized by Queen Elizabeth II with both an OBE and CBE for his extraordinary contributions to U.S.-UK relations.
Proceeds will benefit The Duke of Edinburgh International Award USA, a program Mr. Franklin helped bring to Philadelphia that continues to thrive under the Philadelphia Outward Bound School.
